No, add-ons can only be purchased for adult travelers.

Your tier is valid for 12 months from the day you qualify for it. If you move up to a new tier during that time, a new tier validity period will begin, which means that your new tier will be valid for the next 12 months from the day you qualify for it. When your tier validity period ends, we’ll review your total accumulated premium spend from the past 12 months to determine your tier for the next cycle.

Yes. If your total premium spend meets the Platinum requirement of at least S$1,000 (as stated in the T&Cs), you can progress directly from Bronze to Platinum.

A tier upgrade happens immediately when the accumulated premium reaches the next tier qualification. Your new tier validity period will be valid for 12 months from the upgrade date. In the event if you don’t meet the required accumulated spend for the tier, your membership tier will remain unchanged until that tier’s expiry date.

Your tier is reviewed at the end of your 12-month tier validity period. If your total accumulated premium over the last 12 months does not meet the required spend for your current tier, your tier will be adjusted accordingly based on the spend you have accumulated. For a clearer view of how tier changes work, you may refer to the illustration below.

Your tier will be reviewed at the end of each 12-month period from the start date of your tier. If your total accumulated premium in the immediately preceding 12 months is less than S$100, your Travel Pass membership will expire, and you’ll no longer have access to tier perks and benefits.

Your accumulated premium will be updated in your Travel Pass provided that the relevant policy has not been cancelled or the premium paid refunded to you. The policy’s premium is credited only to the policyholder who owns the Travel Pass, even if the Tiq Travel Insurance policy is purchased on behalf of another person.

Premium amounts will still count toward accumulated premium for Tier qualification even if a claim has been made on the policy:

  • Single Trip Policies: accumulated premium will be updated three (3) days after the policy end date.
  • Annual Multi-Trip Policies: accumulated premium will be updated thirty (30) days after the policy start date.

If you cancel a policy/trip, the spend for the policy will not be included in the accumulated premium for Travel Pass membership in accordance with the Travel Pass terms and conditions. Any perks not used will still be valid for the duration of your current tier’s validity period.

Log into your Etiqa+ SG app and visit the Travel Pass section. You’ll be able to see your current tier, your points balance, how much more accumulated is needed to upgrade/maintain your tier as well as a list of your unlocked perks.

Each tier unlocks exclusive perks designed to make your journeys smoother, smarter and more rewarding. Please kindly refer to the table below for the breakdown of the perks across the tiers.

No. Tier perks are only available to active members who maintain an eligible policy and meet the required Accumulated premium. If you cancel your policy, the cancelled policy’s premium will not be added to your total Accumulated premium. In the event if you qualify for a lower tier, any unused perks will be forfeited and the value of any used perks will be clawed back from your refund amount.

Yes. Travel Pass membership is subject to the Terms and Conditions. In the event of any breach, including fraud or misuse, Etiqa reserves the right to revoke membership or adjust a Member’s tier status. For full details, please refer to the Travel Pass Terms and Conditions.
